We’re getting a slightly larger peek at AMC’s The Walking Dead companion series Fear The Walking Dead. In the clip, titled “Nick’s Escape”, we see Frank Dillane’s (Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince) character Nick running — very fast. He jumps/falls out a window with his open shirt blowing in the wind, slips through a hole in a fence, pulls up his falling pants, and hopefully is able to outrun “it”.

Set in Los Angeles but shot in Vancouver, Fear The Walking Dead focuses on new characters and storylines. Dillane, along with Cliff Curtis, Kim Dickens, and Alycia Debnam Carey star. Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero and David Alpert from The Walking Dead are executive producing for AMC Studios. Dave Erickson, who co-created and co-wrote the pilot with Kirkman, is an executive producer and showrunner. Adam Davidson directed the pilot episode. The series got a two-season order in March, after it was picked up to pilot last fall.

Fear The Walking Dead premieres in August on AMC.
