Another milestone for Family Feud and host Steve Harvey. The game show topped all programs in syndication for the week of June 8 with a 6.1 HH rating, beating Wheel Of Fortune and Judge Judy both of which tied at 6.0, according to Nielsen. It was the first time ever that Family Feud finished as the top-rated program in a week. The show also topped the W18-34 and W18-49 demos, and tied with The Big Bang Theory in A18-49 and W25-54. Family Feud had previously beaten Wheel Of Fortune in the demos, but last week also was the first time the game show beat Wheel Of Fortune in HH.

Family Feud ratings have been on a steady rise, and the latest victory comes on the heels of a surge for celebrity offshoot Celebrity Family Feud on ABC, also hosted by Harvey. Its Sunday night premiere was the top program of the night, averaging a 2.4 rating in adults 18-49 and 8.5 million total viewers from 8-9 PM. Celebrity Family Feud did benefit from a promo campaign during ABC’s highly-rated NBA Finals.

Harvey began hosting Family Feud in September 2010. The show is produced by FremantleNorth America and distributed by Debmar-Mercury.
