Comic-Con-LogoThe blood is still warm from Hannibal‘s axing Monday, but NBC wants to get the thriller down to San Diego for a postmortem next month. The network confirmed today that it is taking the Mads Mikkelsen-Hugh Dancy creepshow to Comic-Con along with fall rookies Blindspot and The Player. The three dramas will join NBC’s Con lineup of Heroes Reborn and Grimm, which were announced last week.

In theory, the reception for Hannibal could help its chances for pickup at another network. Deadline reported yesterday that there has been a significant interest in the series from other outlets. The 45-minute panel is set for Ballroom 20 at 5 PM on Saturday, July 11. A sneak peek of the “Red Dragon” storyline will be followed by a Q&A with cast members Dancy and Richard Armitage along with executive producers Bryan Fuller and Martha De Laurentiis.
