Adult Swim has greenlit a seventh season of the Emmy-winning live-action comedy Childrens Hospital, from creator/executive producer Rob Corddry. The series explores the emotional struggles and sexual politics of a group of doctors charged with healthy libidos.
“I’m happy,” said Corddry. “After our season six cliff hanger, people will be dying for us to turn our backs on the notion of series continuity even more.”
Childrens Hospital is produced by Abominable Pictures, The Corddry Co. and Warner Bros. Television Group’s Studio 2.0. It’s distributed by Warner Bros. TV and is based upon the Webby Award–winning digital series that debuted on TheWB.com in 2008.
