Mark Lafontant has joined LA-based ad and marketing agency Buddha Jones as a creative producer. He spent Mark Lafontant mugthe past dozen years as VP Creative Advertising at Walt Disney Studios, working on campaigns for films including the Pirates Of The Caribbean and Step Up franchises, Lincoln and Saving Mr. Banks. “Not only does he have sharp creative instincts, but as a former studio executive with 12 years of experience, he is able to offer unique insights into the studio world,” company co-founders and co-owners John Long and Dan Asma said of the new hire. “For example, the client is always right. And it’s our job to help them always be right.”

Added Lafontant, “While at Disney, I would often assign Buddha Jones incredibly challenging creative problems to solve, and the hours were sometimes grueling. They tell me they cannot wait to repay me.”

Before Disney, Lafontant did stints as a producer with Trailer Park in Hollywood, a producer-copywriter with the Creative Partnership in London and a producer and copywriter with mOcean in Burbank.
