On a night of half a dozen finales and one debut, ABC took the long held Monday top spot away from NBC among adults 18-49. With a 2.2/7 rating to NBC’s 2.1/7, a Dancing With The Stars (2.2/8) and Season 11 premiere of The Bachelorette (2.1/7) driven ABC also snagged the most watched network Gold medal for the night with 9.53 million watching. All things considered it was actually a fairly steady night for ABC with Part 1 of the finale of this year’s DWTS even with its May 11 show and the 2-hour looking for love show bopping up 5% in the key demo from its last season opener of May 19, 2014.

The news was not so good for The Bachelorette’s 9 PM slot rival The Following (0.9/3) on Fox. Now cancelled, the Kevin Bacon starring series wrapped up its third and last season last night down 10% from its May 11 show in the same slot. With a 1.0/3, the 8 PM episode of the show was even with last week in the demo.Compared to last year, The Following was down 40% among adults 18-49 from the Season 2 finale of Kevin Williamson created show on April 28, 2014. The Following saw Fox pull in a 0.9/3 for the night overall, putting it in fifth place for Monday’s primetime behind Univision’s 1.0/3.

It was all finales on CBS last night with freshman Stalker (1.2/4) coming to its series end with an 8% slip from last week to match a low in preliminary numbers. Before that 9 PM airing, 2 Broke Girls (2.0/7) and Mike & Molly (1.8/6) wrapped up their fourth and fifth cycles respectively. The former was up 25% from last week and even with last year while the latter rose 6% from May 1 but slipped 6% from 2014. The real hit of the night for CBS came to NCIS: Los Angeles (1.4/4). Renewed for a seventh season, the spin-off saw its 10 PM Season 6 ender crater 44% from it fifth season finale of May 13, 2014. That S5 ender was at 9 PM on a not exactly uncrowded Tuesday.

The top rated show of the night was, as usual The Voice (2.6/8), which saw an 8% rise over last week. However, contrasted to last spring’s Finale Pt. 1 of May 19, 2014, last night’s Season 8 Finale Pt. 1 fell 19%. The Season 2 finale of lead-out The Night Shift (1.2/4) was even with last week and up 9% from its Season 1 ender of July 15, 2014.
