Lionsgate is closing a deal to acquire Woody Harrelson-Liam Hemsworth Western By Way Of Helena for north of $3 million for North America, Deadline has confirmed. CAA and WME are handling the domestic sale with WestEnd selling international.

Kieran Darcy-Smith (Wish You Were Here) directed from a Matt Cook script about a Texas Ranger investigating a series of unexplained deaths in a town called Helena. Todd Lieberman and David Hoberman produced the film along with Maureen Meulen and Adam Rosenfelt.

It marks the latest acquisition for Lionsgate, which kicked off the festival with the first major acquisition of the market with Michael Grandage’s Genius, as revealed by Deadline.
