First he made 42 back in 2013 about legendary ballplayer and civil rights icon Jackie Robinson and today Thomas Tull has added the head of the Jackie Robinson Foundation to his board of directors. Along with Univision’s President of News and Digital Isaac Lee, Legendary Entertainment has named Della Britton to the media company’s board.
“We are very fortunate to have such an exceptional group of directors on Legendary’s board whose counsel and advice is invaluable to our shareholder,” said Tull Thursday. “Isaac’s and Della’s unique experience and individual viewpoints will bring additional value, as we continue to grow our core film business and diversify Legendary’s asset offerings into analytics, international markets, and digital platforms.”
Both of the new board members have a bit of Disney in them it turns, at least indirectly. As well as big the News boss at the Spanish language network, Lee is also the CEO of Fusion, the millennial centric network co-owned by Disney and Univision. While President and CEO of the Jackie Robinson Foundation now, Britton was one of the top lawyers for the now Disney-owned ABC for several years back in the 1980s. She went on to become the head of Hillside Broadcasting and the President of AJM Records up until 2004.
