Brian Regan: Live will air live, appropriately, from Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Saturday, September 26 at 9 PM on Comedy Central, the channel’s first-ever live stand-up special. Regan will announce the news tonight on The Late Show With David Letterman, Comedy Central said today. Regan made his first stand-up appearance on David Letterman’s Late Show in 1995 and will make his 28th and final appearance tonight, the most of any comedian since the show began on CBS.

Image (1) comedycentral1__131014150903-200x157__140423165246.jpg for post 718730Regan was most recently seen in feature Top Five opposite Chris Rock and in Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee. But it is stand-up comedy that is Regan’s focus visiting close to 100 cities each year. Regan’s history with Comedy Central dates to 2000 when he appeared on Comedy Central Presents. He has since done two hourlong Comedy Central specials, The Epitome Of Hyperbole (2008) and Brian Regan Standing Up (2007), both available on DVD. His other work includes “I Walked The Moon” (2004), available on DVD through his website,  and “Brian Regan Live”(1997), available on CD.
