Ratings superstar Lip Sync Battle has gotten a second season on Spike TV. The network announced today it will pick up another 20 episodes of the series, debuting in 2016.

“Lip Sync Battle is a television and viral rock star for Spike,” said Kevin Kay, President, Spike. “We are thrilled to be renewing Lip Sync Battle whose success is a direct result of the brilliance and creativity of our producers, the brave performers, and of course the coolest new duo on television, LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen.”

Through four episodes, Lip Sync Battle is the most-watched original series in network history, averaging 3 million viewers, and is the top-rated series in its timeslot in the Adults 18-49 demo in all of cable. The series is a digital hit as well, amassing over 107 million video streams in three weeks, with the Anne Hathaway “Wrecking Ball” clip securing 14 million views alone.

Lip Sync Battle is hosted by LL Cool J and directed by Beth McCarthy-Miller (Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock), is executive produced by Casey Patterson, Jay Peterson of Matador Content, John Krasinski, Stephen Merchant, and Eight Million Plus Productions.
