Jeffrey Greenstein has been bumped up a notch to President Of International Sales & Distribution at Avi Lerner’s Nu Image. The five-year company vet will oversee and manage the foreign sales and distribution of all Nu Image and Millennium Films productions. Greenstein, who was VP International Sales & Distribution at Nu Image and Millennium, has worked on more than 30 films for the indie studio, including the Expendables franchise, Olympus Has Fallen and Homefront. He’ll head to the Croisette next month to rep Nu Image and Millennium pics at Cannes including such upcoming titles as Criminal, London Has Fallen and Mechanic 2.
“Jeffrey is one of the hardest-working, most positive people I’ve ever met,” said Lerner, to whom Greenstein will report. “He is creative, ambitious and has a ‘won’t take no for an answer’ mindset. This has allowed him to learn the international markets and their needs, forming very strong relationships with our buyers. The speed at which he was able to accomplish this deserves recognition.” Added Millennium Films President Mark Gill, “Jeffrey is an extraordinary talent — extremely hard working, personable, inventive, intuitive and, best of all, a closer.”
Greenstein will continue to develop and package film and TV projects to produce through the studio. He takes over the president post from John Fremes, who joined Voltage Pictures this week. “I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue to learn from the best in the business and to call Avi Lerner and Mark Gill mentors,” Greenstein said.
