Reality TV stars, Ice-T and wife Coco Austin, will host a daytime talk show for Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, which is getting a three-week daily preview as a strip on Fox TV stations in select markets, including New York and Los Angeles, beginning Monday, August 3.
Produced by Telepictures Prods., Ice & Coco will feature actor and rapper Ice-T and his wife, Coco, as they take on the topics of the day — all things newsworthy, celeb-worthy and puppy-worthy — showcasing the couple’s honest curiosity about what’s happening in the world as well as their interview style and enthusiasm for joining in the conversation. The two hosts plan to interact with their celebrity guests via fun segments, games and open interviews. “It’s a fun show with our own style of hip, married humor and honesty,” Ice-T and Coco said.
Candi Carter (The Oprah Winfrey Show) is executive producing the show for Warner Bros. Unscripted and Alternative Television, ran by Mike Darnell.
“We see this as another attempt to do something different — big personalities, new to the daypart,” said Frank Cicha, SVP programming for the Fox TV Stations. “Ice-T helped change popular culture. We’re trying to do the same thing for daytime.”
Ice & Coco follows other Warner Bros. daytime talk shows that went onto national syndications after successful summer test runs on Fox stations, including Bethenny and most recently The Real.
“We are thrilled to continue our ongoing relationship with Fox attempting to develop the next generation of successful talk shows,” said Ken Werner, President, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.
Ice & Coco is one of two talk shows featuring a celebrity couple that the Fox stations will be testing this summer, along with The Boris And Nicole Show, hosted by married Hollywood couple Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker.
Ice-T and Coco previously toplined E! reality series Ice Loves Coco. The two ended the show last year, with Ice-T, who also has a podcast, hinting that a talk show may next for the couple.

Oh dear Lord.
Indeed.
Well the name of the show is cool.
this should be required viewing for all……
Very interesting projects with beautiful, interesting hosts. Looking forward to seeing them both.
The networks need to bring back soap operas. These worthless daytime talk shows are just that — worthless. It’ll be on for a few weeks…..then, goodbye.
Chris Jenner’s tryout last summer didn’t go forward. But she’s still around wearing a little too-much leopard. Show sounds like a Fallon clone for the daypart. Good luck to them.
“hosted by married Hollywood couple Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker”. I had to Google both these people, and I still don’t know who they are…
Ice certainly has had a remarkable career arch. I was an exec working on his HBO pilot in the 90’s called “Ice TV” a talk show that glorified pimping, misogyny, drug culture etc. with sketches by members of 2 Live Crew (that should tell you everything you need to know!) and just about anything else that was politically incorrect. Of course the pilot never saw the light of day but it was an instant ‘classic’ and I use that word very loosely. Apparently his ‘Cop Killer’ days are long behind him now as he meanders into middle-age, black caricature exploitation and daytime talk show pablum. Hey, don’t hate the player … hate the game !
They need to have Kelli Giddish & Frannie Mae on their show, it’s a must :)
