Endemol Beyond USA has named Adrian Sexton, who previously held top digital-media positions at Participant Media and Lionsgate, as its chief operating officer, said President Will Keenan.

Endemol Beyond USA is a unit of Endemol, focused on digital video distribution on channels such as AOL, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Yahoo and YouTube.

Sexton, formerly EVP of digital for Participant, will oversee new strategic partnerships and investments, business development, strategy, sales and distribution opportunities. He will be based in Los Angeles.

Before Participant, Sexton was head of digital and business development at Lionsgate, chief development officer at Dynamics and a co-founder of the TAG Strategic and New Medici digital-media consultancies.
