UPDATED with red-band trailer below: Amy Schumer is funny. Really funny. And now she’s teamed with Judd Apatow — also funny — for Trainwreck, which the comedian wrote and stars in with Bill Hader, Vanessa Bayer, Colin Quinn and even LeBron James. Universal Pictures has set a July 17 release date for the comedy, Apatow’s first behind the camera since 2012’s This Is 40. Schumer plays a successful magazine writer who excels at boozy one-night stands and meets a doctor (Hader) she has been assigned to interview. That’s pretty much all that’s needed to launch Schumer, one of the best stand-ups going right now.

From the trailer that finally dropped today (the film was unveiled by Deadline in August 2013), it appears that Apatow — who as a producer guided early turns from Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy in Bridesmaids and Lena Dunham in HBO’s Girls — has found his next muse. What do you think?
