Susan Hogg has left BBC Productions after 14 years to become Head of Drama and President of Scripted Programming at Studio Lambert in London. She was Senior Drama Executive Producer at BBC Prods, overseeing such programs as Five Daughters, Lark Rise To Candleford, The Paradise, Survivors, Waking the Dead and The Fades.
“I’m delighted that Sue has agreed to lead our push into scripted programming,” Studio Lambert CEO Stephen Lambert said. “She has a fabulous relationship with many of Britain’s top writers and deep experience of developing and overseeing a wide range of great drama.” Said Hogg: “I am ready for a change, and I’m hugely excited by the opportunities that being part of a successful trans-Atlantic independent production company will give me.”
Hogg’s hire comes two weeks after Lambert inked a new five-year deal with All3Media that provided the funding to launch a drama department at Studio Lambert.
Prior to joining the BBC, Hogg was head of drama at Granada Television and was one of the founding executives of United Productions.
