Until now, the multichannel network Omnia Media has been focused on gaming, music, and entertainment. With its first foray into original content, Omnia has launched GlamboothTV, a new division focused on women’s lifestyle. It also has hired Carmen Wong, a former manager of talent acquisitions and development at StyleHaul, as head of partnerships and strategy for GlamboothTV.

The YouTube channel will airGlamboothTV 3 new shows weekly including GlamBuzz, a show featuring the five most buzzworthy topics in celebrity, fashion and entertainment starring a rotating cast that includes Viner, Landon Moss and MissTiffanyMa. Other original programs will include DIY show Glamify and character transformation show Glambition.

Marketing efforts will be bolstered by Omnia’s expansion into off-YouTube influencer businesses — Vine, Instagram, Twitter monetization — and acquisition of the largest Vine compilation channel on YouTube, BuzzVines. Ray Kim, previously head of influencer relations and development at twtMob, is now director of emerging platforms.

“GlamboothTV will be an opportunity for creators to collaborate and help girls and women navigate their everyday lives, as well as inspire their daily routines,” Wong said.
