Nicholas Braun (The Perks Of Being A Wallflower) has joined Tina Fey and Margot Robbie in Paramount’s Fun Housean adaptation of Kim Barker’s wartime memoir Taliban Shuffle. Fey plays a journalist and self-confessed adrenaline junkie who recounts her six years of reporting on terrorism and international affairs in Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. Braun will play Tall Brian, her cameraman. He has a role in the Sundance pic The Stanford Prison Experiment and appears in the upcoming Poltergeist, Jem And The Holograms and Good Kids. He is repped by UTA, Brillstein Entertainment and Jackoway Tyerman.

Jena Malone (the Hunger Games sequels) has signed on to play a lead role in the writer-director Nina Ljeti’s indie feature Things You Missed While You Were Gone. She stars alongside Lyndie Greenwood, Thomas Mann, Soko and Shane West. Adam Trahan, Ljeti and Tom van Dell are producing the pic, which starts principal photography in the spring in South Carolina. Malone’s recent credits include Inherent Vice, Time Out Of Mind and Hatfields & McCoys, and she next appears in the features Angelica, Bottom Of The World and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2. She is repped by Gersh.
