Actor and Vine star Josh Peck has been cast as a lead opposite John Stamos in Full House alum’s single-camera comedy pilot at Fox. In the untitled project, aka Grandpa, Stamos plays Jimmy, a charismatic longtime bachelor whose life is upended when he discovers he’s a father — and a grandfather. Peck plays the son Jimmy didn’t know he had – a sweet unemployed techie who is himself the proud and surprisingly capable father of a two-year-old daughter, the product of a one-night stand with the sexy Vanessa. Danny Chun wrote the script and executive produces with Stamos and Dan Fogelman for ABC Studios.

Peck, repped by UTA and Silver Lining, started off on Nickelodeon’s The Amanda Show and soon landed his own series, Drake & Josh, which he toplined with Drake Bell. His feature credits include The Wackness and Red Dawn.

In addition to his acting career, Peck has become one of the top personalities on short-form video platform Vine where he has 7.3 million followers. He is very active across social media, with 1.77 million Twitter followers, 1.3 Instagram followers and 3 million Facebook likes.
