USA Pilot ‘Evil Men’ Not Going Forward

USA Network continues to make decisions on the pilots from its current batch. I’ve learned that the cable network has opted not to proceed with supernatural drama pilot Evil Men, from CBS TV Studios and Universal Cable Prods. Written by Daniel Taplitz and directed by Gary Fleder, the proe down when he is approached by a frighteningly powerful entity and commanded to kill “evil men” or see his family ject followed Harry Killas (Dallas Roberts), an upstanding, middle-class family man whose life is turned upsid— along with his city — utterly destroyed. However, the gleeful psycho (Clifton Collins Jr.) who is meant to be his first target, instead begins teaching him how to carry out his new destiny. Parminder Nagra and Jessalyn Gilsig co-starred.

Of the five drama pilots under consideration, USA so far has picked up two to series — alien occupation drama Colony and hacker show Mr. Robot — and has passed on two: Evil Men and Stanistan, set at the American compound in the Middle East. Remaining in contention is the fifth, Queen Of The South.

I was really disappointed they passed on Stanistan, but them passing on this one doesn’t bother me. I hope they pick up Queen of the South though. That one sounds like it could be good.

Enough with the pilots. Give us another season of Covert Affairs!

Sad. Sounds a little like Frailty. Which I would not have minded at all if it was anything like it, ha.

Good choice. I want to see Parminder Nagra in something new but not this.

Really stupid decision. This show could have been the best in the history of the network.
