EXCLUSIVE: Diane Kruger has been set for the female lead opposite Bryan Cranston in The Infiltrator, a thriller that will be directed by Brad Furman (The Lincoln Lawyer). Pic’s produced by Good Films’ Miriam Segal and production begins shortly. Based on the Robert Mazur autobiography with a script by Ellen Brown Furman, The Infiltrator revolves around a customs and excise agent (Cranston) and his undercover alias.

Kruger, best known for Inglourious Basterds, just wrapped the Gabriele Muccino-directed Fathers And Daughters, opposite Amanda Seyfried, Aaron Paul and Russell Crowe. She also wrapped Maryland and is shooting Sky and she will star with Penelope Cruz in the Isabel Coixet-directed This Man, This Woman. She’s repped by UTA and Untitled and Altitude Management.
