Billy Bob Thornton, Alfred Molina and Sheila Vand have boarded Paramount’s Untitled Tina Fey-Margot Robbie-Martin Freeman project which is being directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa.  The pic is based on the autobiography The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan by Kim Barker, which is being adapted by 30 Rock scribe Robert Carlock. Production has already started in New Mexico.

Vand will play, Shakira El-Khoury, a Lebanese reporter who works in the field alongside Kim (Fey) and Tanya (Robbie), forming a close bond to the two as they navigate the male-dominated world of journalism in Afghanistan.  Vand is repped by Paradigm. Thornton is repped by WME and Media Talent Group and Molina is repped by WME and Hyler Management.  The three actors join Christopher Abbott, Nicholas Braun, Stephen Peacocke and Evan Jonigkeit.
