Veteran reality producer, director and development executive Jessica Sebastian has been hired by USA Network as VP of Unscripted Series, reporting to EVP Original Programming Jackie de Crinis. Sebastian succeeds Heather Olander, who left in August to run alternative programming for sibling Syfy.

After several shots in the unscripted arena, USA landed a breakout hit last year with Chrisley Knows Best, which continues to grow and post ratings highs. While the network recently pulled away from original scripted comedy to focus on its core drama brad, it remains committed to unscripted programming and unscripted comedies like Chrisley.

British-born Sebastian comes to USA from Electus, where she served as VP of Development and executive producer on the series Breaking Greenville for TruTV, Style By Jury for TLC and Southern Justice for Nat Geo. She previously was an executive at the Style Network and produced the pilot for unscripted series Nailed It, which now airs on Oxygen. She began her career in unscripted development at Original Media, where she served as VP. While at Original, Sebastian served as showrunner for Bravo’s The Rachel Zoe Project and worked on Be Good Johnny Weir and Ink Master. During her 14-year TV career to date, she also has worked as a director and producer on a slew of unscripted series, including Wife Swap, What Not to Wear, MADE, Moving Up and The Soup (UK version).
