Nice timing, this. The same day Liam Neeson hits theaters in Taken 3 comes the first trailer for his next shoot-’em-up. In Run All Night, the late-blooming action hero plays an over-the-hill hitman once known as the Gravedigger. Now better at draining whiskey bottles than his victims’ lifeblood, he is forced to get back in the game when his son (Joel Kinnaman) becomes a target. The erstwhile Gravedigger must choose between his crime family and the real family he abandoned years ago. “I’m coming after your boy with everything I got,” the hitman’s longtime best friend and mob boss (Ed Harris) tells him. “And when it’s done — and it will be done — then I’ll let you die.” Vincent D’Onofrio, Bruce McGill, Genesis Rodriguez, Boyd Holbrook, Holt McCallany and Common co-star in the R-rated film helmed by Jaume Collet-Serra — who directed Neeson in last year’s airborne actioner Non-Stop. Brad Ingelsby wrote the pic, which Warner Bros opens April 17.
