Producers, stars and network executives from New York staying at the Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena for the TCA Winter Press Tour were made to feel like home, and not in a good way. A number of TCA attendees from the freezing East Coast who spent the night at the hotel that hosts the event said that they were left without heat. And if that can hardly faze a seasoned New Yorker, they also woke up to find out that there was no hot water in their rooms. The options: a cold shower or none. The result: some sniffling execs and producers in the hallways of the Langham today and some who awkwardly avoided close embraces.

UPDATE: Here is a statement I’ve received by Susan Williger, Director of Communications for The Langham Huntington, in response to my story:

On behalf of the hotel, I wanted to let you know that this unforeseen engineering issue was resolved within 45-minutes of being reported. We received a few complaints about the cold water from guests staying in house that were addressed as soon as possible.  We did not receive any guest complaints regarding the heat in-room.

It is our intention to ensure that all guests have a memorable experience at The Langham Huntington, Pasadena and we are honored to host the TCA 2015 Winter Press Tour again this year.
