In his first executive move since the merger of Fox 21 and Fox TV Studios, the combined entity’s president Bert Salke has promoted Tara Flynn to VP Creative Affairs. She will work on the development of comedy and drama cable projects and will assist in the oversight of the company’s current series. Flynn comes from the Fox 21 side of the company where she was hired by then-Fox 21 president Salke.
“I met Tara years ago when she was working in production on a pilot I was making,” Salke said. “Right away it was clear to me that she was a star, and she’s made each transition in her career seamlessly and with great results.”
Since joining Fox 21 from ABC Studios, Flynn has worked on such shows as Homeland, Sons Of Anarchy, Salem and Legends.
