Mo McRae (Wild, Sons Of Anarchy] has been cast opposite Taye Diggs and Kathleen Robertson in TNT’s Murder In The First. The cop drama series from Steven Bochco and Eric Lodal chronicles a complex homicide investigation that spans an entire season. McRae, repped by CAA and Untitled Entertainment, will lay Malcolm “Suger” Monroe, a gangster boss and unofficial mayor of the projects. Hildy (Robertson) and Terry (Diggs) are drawn into Suger’s world in Season 2, only to discover that Suger is looking for an exit from the game and even seeking redemption. McRae recently shot the lead role in romantic comedy November Rule. He recurred as Tyler on the just-wrapped Sons Of Anarchy. He also had a recurring role on Seasons 1 and 2 of Ray Donovan.

Cicely Tyson has been tapped to guest star opposite Viola Davis in ABC’s How To Get Away With Murder. Details of her character are being kept under wraps, but as of now she’s scheduled to appear in one episode. The legal drama, a strong ratings performer, recently got a full 15-episode season order.
