The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart apologized on air last night to the DA of San Bernardino County, CA,  and took personal responsibility for his show’s error last week with regard to an entry in its list of unarmed black men recently shot by police. He said he most regretted what this mistake has done to diminish TV news discussion about police over-reach.”That’s what’s so tough about working in media counter-errorism.”

Take Kilmeade’s reaction, for instance. Stewart played it, and responded. “F*ck You. Seriously. F*ck You…If I hadn’t told you to f*ck off I would have had to apologize on tomorrow night’s show for being factually incorrect.”
