ER and Blacklist alumna Parminder Nagra and Glee and Vikings‘ Jessalyn Gilsig are set to co-star opposite Dallas Roberts and Clifton Collins Jr. in Evil Men, USA Network’s supernatural drama pilot, from CBS TV Studios and Universal Cable Prods. Written by Daniel Taplitz and directed by Gary Fleder, the project follows Harry Killas (Roberts), an upstanding, middle-class family man whose life is turned upside down when he is approached by a frighteningly powerful entity and commanded to kill “evil men” or see his family — along with his city — utterly destroyed. However, the gleeful psycho (Collins) who is meant to be his first target, instead begins teaching him how to carry out his new destiny.
Nagra, repped by Gersh, SAC Management and Curtis Brown Group, will play Harry’s compassionate and strong wife Sarah who is initially unaware of the titanic stresses and strains that are tearing her husband apart and begins to worry that he’s having an affair. Gilsig, repped by Paradigm, Untitled Entertainment and Ziffren Brittenham, will play Adela, an Assistant District Attorney with the city of Los Angeles an incisive pragmatist whose powerful ambition may only be trumped by her loyalty to Harry. Also cast in the pilot is child actor Daniel Zolghadri (Scorpion) as Sarah and Harry’s son Max. He is with the Osbrink Agency and Trilogy Talent Management. Taplitz, Fleder, Eric and Kim Tannenbaum and Mary Beth Basile executive produce.
