French actress Nora Arnezeder (Safe House) is set to co-star opposite James Wolk in CBS’ new summer drama series Zoo. Based on the novel by James Patterson, Zoo is a global thriller about a wave of violent animal attacks against humans sweeping the planet. It centers on Jackson Oz (Wolk), a renegade American zoologist running safaris in the wilds of Africa who is thrust into a race to unlock the mystery of the pandemic. Arnezeder will play Chloe Tousignant, a French investigator who meets Oz while she is on an African safari.
Christian Campbell (Big Love) has been added to the cast of HBO’s True Detective. He will recur on the second season of the crime drama that revolves around three police officers (Colin Farrell, Taylor Kitsch and Rachel McAdams) and a career criminal (Vince Vaughn) who must navigate a web of conspiracy in the aftermath of a murder. Campbell, repped by by Untitled and Charles Bodner at BRS/Gage, will play Richard Brune, the therapist husband of Alicia (Abigail Spencer).
