James Corden visits David Letterman’s CBS late night show tonight and talks about how wowed his dad was to learn his son was going to host an American TV show. Corden is replacing Craig Ferguson on CBS’ Late Late Show in March.
“Well, my dad’s phone – he was genuinely so proud – like, he kind of welled up a little bit because, you know, people texting and emailing and calling. And, you know, to have your own show in America is, you know, to me is mind-blowing, let alone to my dad,” Corden said.
And then, Dad found out about the timeslot.
