The ATX Television Festival is reuniting stars, creators and writers from iconic series Gilmore Girls and Dawson’s Creek at its 2015 Season 4 edition June 4-7 in Austin. Gilmore Girls‘ creator Amy Sherman Palladino and stars Lauren Graham and Alexis Biedel will represent the series that debuted on October 5, 2000 to critical acclaim until it ended in 2007. Graham and Biedel played mother and daughter in the series that dealt with culturally relevant life scenarios with timeless meaning.
ATX’s first Writers’ Room Reunion with Dawson’s Creek will include creator/showrunner Kevin Williamson, showrunner Greg Berlanti, and producers/writers/assistants Jenny Bicks, Julie Plec, Rob Thomas, Liz Tigelaar, Paul Stupin, Rina Mimoun, Maggie Friedman, Anna Fricke, and Dana Baratta. The coming-of-age teen drama series debuted on The WB on January 20, 1998, gaining popularity through the years and reaching millions of homes per week. It launched the careers of Katie Holmes, Oscar nominee Michelle Williams, James Van Der Beek, and Joshua Jackson.
