ABC has put in development Emma Cavendish, a legal procedural from ABC Studios written by NCIS co-executive producer Chris Silber. It centers on a young attorney who discovers a long-buried secret about her family. The revelation upends her career and personal life, making her question everything she believed about herself. Silber is executive producing with Emile Gladstone. This marks one of the first major sales for Gladstone through his Emile Gladstone Productions management/production company, which he launched in March after an eight-month stint at Chris Morgan Prods.

Silber, repped by UTA, is a rising procedural writer who has worked on the two biggest CBS franchises: CSI and NCIS. He spent two seasons on CSI: NY and also served as a co-executive producer on another CBS crime procedural, Elementary. Former ICM Partners agent Gladstone is repped by attorney David Fox.
