At Monday’s ITV Studios-Deadline party at MIPCOM, father and son co-creators Eugene and Dan Levy revealed how they wound up in Schitt’s Creek, their new comedy series which follows a down-on-their-luck billionaire family, who have but no choice to move to the clunky town they once bought as a joke. The series stars Eugene Levy’s Second City bud Catherine O’Hara, Annie Murphy, Chris Elliott, and of course, the Levys.  Canadian broadcaster CBC picked up 13-episodes of  Schitt’s Creek.  Also attending the ITV Studios-Deadline party at Baoli Beach on the Croisette was Aquarius executive producers John McNamara and Marty Adelstein, Oscar-nominated doc director Morgan Spurlock, David Stapf, CBS Studios president;Ed Horowitz,  I Get That A lot executive producer; Adrian Last, ITV Studios director of marketing; Roxanna Kharrazi, ITV Studios marketing manager, Americas & Asia Pacific; and Patrick Connolly, AMC Networks vice president of programming.
