Another Batman nemesis is heading to Fox’s Gotham. Nicholas D’Agosto (Masters Of Sex) has joined the cast of the freshman drama as Harvey Dent. He will be recurring this season with an option to become a regular in Season 2.

gotham-bar-big11In the Batman prequel series, based on the DC characters, Harvey Dent is a bright, charming, idealistic Assistant District Attorney whose sole mission is to eradicate the crime and corruption that has poisoned Gotham. Although he one day will serve as the white knight Gotham needs so badly as a DA, Dent also gives us a fleeting glimpse of the hideous villain he will become: Two-Face. In Chris Nolan’s The Dark Knight, the role was played by Aaron Eckhart.

David Zayas recently was cast in the recurring role of mob boss Salvatore Maroni, the man responsible for disfiguring Dent, leading to his transformation into Two-Face.
