CBS has put in development a comedy written by Dan Kopelman (Rules Of Engagement, Malcolm In The Middle), which he is executive producing with Aaron Kaplan of Kapital Entertainment for Warner Bros. TV. The untitled multi-camera project revolves around four best friends from college who are still living together as bachelors 10 years after graduation.
This marks the latest collaboration between Kopelman and Kaplan. Last season, they sold a comedy spec by Kopelman with John Hamburg attached to direct to Fox with a put pilot commitment. Kopelman also is writing a comedy for Nickelodeon loosely based on actress Tia Mowry-Hardrict‘s upbringing, which he is developing and executive producing with Kaplan. Kopelman is with UTA and Jared Levine.
