Brenda Song is staying in business with Fox and 20th Century Fox. The actress, who did an arc on Fox/20th TV’s New Girl and was a regular on Dads, has signed a talent holding deal with the network and studio to topline a project this development season.

“After working with Brenda on New Girl and Dads last season, we simply couldn’t let her go — she’s one of the most talented, funny and authentic young actresses out there today,” said Fox network’s head of casting Tess Sanchez. “We’ve got an incredible development slate this year, with multiple roles for which Brenda would be the perfect fit, and we can’t wait to cast her in one of our upcoming pilots.”

Song’s other TV credits include a lead role in the long-running Disney series The Suite Life Of Zack & Cody and guest spots on Scandal, Key & Peele and The League. Her feature work includes The Social Network, College Road Trip and Leave It To Beaver. She is repped by UTA, Curtis Talent Management and attorney Patti Felker.
