Just in time for the midterm elections, Season 2 of Amazon Studios’ political comedy Alpha House has arrived, and it gets my vote. The Garry Trudeau-created series debuts all 10 episodes of its second season Friday on Amazon Prime Instant Video. Watch my video review of the p, Alpha House has gotten sharper and more importantly funnier with a sophomore season of real laughs, sturdy stories and great cameos and additions to a cast led by John Goodman, Mark Consuelos, Clark Johnson and Matt Malloy. What was a breakout show for Amazon last season has become a true ballot-topper.

Plus, Season 2 has Bill Murray making a cameo in some very fine and bright threads — you’ll see what I mean. Would love to know what you think.

Trudeau, Elliot Webb, Antoine Douaihy and Jonathan Alter produce Alpha House.
