Image Entertainment has acquired U.S. rights to Digging Up The Marrow, a meta-fantasy flick from horror filmmaker Adam Green (Frozen). Green stars as himself along with a cadre of his genre pals in a story that begins when he receives a package from a mysterious man (Ray Wise) who claims he can prove that monsters exist. Green wrote, directed, and stars in the pic inspired by the work of artist Alex Pardee, who also appears along with Will Barratt, Joe Lynch (Everly), Don Coscarelli (John Dies At The End), Lloyd Kaufman, Tony Todd (Candyman), Steve Agee (The Sarah Silverman Program), Mick Garris (Masters Of Horror), Tom Holland (Fright Night), Kane Hodder (Jason X, Hatchet), Josh Ethier (Almost Human), and the late Dave Brockie of GWAR. Digging Up The Marrow was produced by Green for his ArieScope Pictures along with Cory Neal, who financed with Andrew Mysko through their Hacienda Film Co. Kaleidoscope Film Distribution will be selling international at AFM.
