Former Scott Free London exec Liza Marshall and Kick-Ass and One Chance producer Kris Thykier are partnering in new UK-based production company, Archery Pictures. The pair will work across film and television with Thykier shuttering his PeaPie Films and moving both the staff and development slate over to Archery. He’s currently in post on Woman In Gold with Helen Mirren and Ryan Reynolds, is producing Kasper Barfoed’s Summer of ‘92, and exec producing John Wells’ Bradley Cooper-starrer Adam Jones for The Weinstein Company. Upcoming releases, Stephen Daldry’s Trash, and Asif Kapadia’s Ali & Nino will go out under the PeaPie banner.

Marshall is a respected exec who recently stepped down from her role as head of Ridley Scott’s Scott Free London which she established in 2009. Her producing and exec producing credits include Before I Go To Sleep with Nicole Kidman, Welcome To The Punch starring James McAvoy and the upcoming Get Santa with Jim Broadbent. She also created the Life in A Day project with Youtube and Kevin Macdonald. She is also exec producer on the upcming Tom Hardy/Steven Knight period series Taboo. Prior to Scott Free, Marshall spent five years as the Head of Drama at Channel 4.

Marshall will be Joint Managing Director of Archery with Thykier. The pair are already examining properties. Other key executives on the team will include Senior Development and Production Executive, Pip Williams, and Head of Physical Production, Mairi Bett, a co-producer on Edgar Wright’s The World’s End, Paul Greengrass’ Green Zone and Cary Fukunaga’s Jane Eyre.

Thykier’s other credits include romantic comedy I Give It A Year, Madonna’s W.E. and Ben Drew’s Ill Manors. Prior to launching PeaPie, he was partnered with Matthew Vaughn in MARV Films where they produced Harry Brown, Kick-Ass and Stardust.
