Recently launched market-research firm C4 has named former Ipsos and Interpret executive Ben Spergel as EVP Consumer Insights. The firm – which specializes in the TV, digital and videogame industries –  is a so-called software-as-a-service company, providing script analysis, screening research, tracking and advertising testing. C4’s CEO is Vincent Bruzzese, formerly a longtime executive with research firms MarketCast and MPG.

Spergel will oversee C4’s online and offline research work, including screenings and ad testing, and have a key role in the company’s launch of new tracking products. Spergel’s background includes seven years at Ipsos (previously OTX), where he had a key role in running TV Dailies, including developing an online reporting system to process and analyze the product’s data. Spergel also has worked at Lifetime Entertainment and at MGM Worldwide Television.
