EXCLUSIVE: Gerald McRaney has joined the cast of Relativity’s The Disappointments Room. Kate Beckinsale stars in the psychological thriller as a woman who moves into a new house with her 5-year-old son only to discover a secret room within the attic where unimaginable horrors are accidentally unlocked. I Am Number Four and Eagle Eye helmer D.J. Caruso rewrote and is directing from an original script by Prison Break star Wentworth Miller, who penned last year’s gothic thriller Stoker.

Simon & Simon and Major Dad star McRaney is hot off small-screen runs on Netflix’s House Of Cards and the recently cancelled Longmire. He also appears in the upcoming Relativity romance The Best Of Me and stars opposite Will Smith in Warner Bros’ February crime-romance Focus. The Disappointments Room began filming this month and also stars Lucas Till and Mel Raido. Geyer Kosinski is producing, while Robbie Brenner oversees for the studio. Ryan Kavanaugh, Tucker Tooley, and Demarest Films are executive producing. McRaney is repped by Stone Manners Salners Agency and Course Management.
