FYI has begun production on 13 hourlong episodes of Tiny House Nation for a Season 2 premiere this winter, and greenlit new series Tiny House Hunting. Both docuseries target the exploding trend of extreme downsizing and feature owners and wannabe-owners of super small spaces around the country. Season 1 of Tiny House Nation brought the FYI time period average up 37% in total viewers and 48% among adults 25-54, compared to BIO Channel’s year to date average prior to the network re-branding.
Tiny House Nation follows host John Weisbarth and renovation expert Zack Giffin as they travel across America to show off ingenious small spaces and the inventive people who live in them. Along the way, they help families design and construct their own mini dream homes, no larger than 500 square feet. Tiny House Hunting follows realtors as they help a pair of tiny home seekers find the perfect existing mini home for their family.
