Universal Pictures has moved up its monster mash Dracula Untold by a week to October 10, giving it three weeks of play before Halloween. It now will open one week after Annabelle, Warner Bros’ horror spinoff featuring the doll from The Conjuring, and two weeks before Ouija, Universal’s adaptation of the Hasbro occult board game.

Dracula Untold, which will be released in all formats including Imax, stars Luke Evans as Dracula in the origin tale of the man who would become Bloodsucker No. 1. It will open against Warner Bros’ Robert Downey Jr-Robert Duvall drama The Judge, Lionsgate thriller Addicted and Disney’s family yarn Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.
