Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, which has been a consistent box office winner at Broadway’s Stephen Sondheim Theatre, will hit the West End in February and launch a U.S. tour in September 2015, producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing said Thursday night. The London production will begin previews on February 10, 2015 at the Aldwych Theatre, with an official opening night set for February 25. The First American National Tour will launch at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, RI, followed by stands at the Oriental in Chicago and at the Hollywood Pantages, among other theaters.

Casting for the productions has not been set. But the creative team, led by book author Douglas McGrath, director Marc Bruni and choreographer Josh Prince, will reprise on both the London and touring shows. They include Derek McLane (sets), Alejo Vietti (costumes), Peter Kaczorowski (lighting), Brian Ronan (sound), Charles G. LaPointe (wigs and hair), Steve Sidwell (orchestrations and music arrangements), Jason Howland (music supervision) and John Miller (music coordination).
