Longtime 20th Century Fox TV top PR executive Chris Alexander has been upped to EVP of Corporate Communications & Publicity for the studio. His promotion comes on the heels of the elevation of Dana Walden and Gary Newman to chairmen and CEOs and Joe Earley to COO of Fox Television Group. Alexander, who used to report to Walden and Newman, will now report to Earley. “This promotion recognizes the pivotal role Chris plays in communicating the studio’s growth and success under Dana Walden and Gary Newman,” Earley said. “He’s a gifted executive, valued by both the media and our producers, as a creative and enthusiastic champion of our business.”
Alexander, who has been at 20th TV since 2000 and most recently served as SVP, oversees the studio’s corporate communications, publicity, talent relations and events. He oversees the studio’s award campaigns for its 39 series, including Modern Family, Homeland and American Horror Story, and manages the communications efforts across TCFTV’s multiple businesses.
