Brian Huskey has booked a recurring role on the ABC/Warner Bros. TV single camera comedy Selfie from Emily Kapnek. Selfie follows twentysomething Eliza Dooley (Karen Gillan) as she rebrands her social media image with the help of marketing guru Henry (John Cho). On the show, Huskey will be playing Larry, a clueless lab technician at a children’s pharmaceutical company, who has a real, unrequited fondness of Henry. Larry’s random presence adds complications to Henry’s My Fair Lady-like makeover of Eliza. Huskey has a full dance card of late. He has the recurring role of snarky Washington Post reporter Leon West on HBO’s Veep, appeared in the Seth Rogen-Zac Efron summer blockbuster comedy Neighbors and can be seen in Scot Armstrong‘s Sept 12. feature directorial debut Search Party. Huskey also plays the lead role of Dr. Ron, a hypnotherapist suffering a mid-life crisis, in Matt Walsh‘s upcoming feature comedy A Better You (click here to watch trailer). Huskey also co-wrote the film with Walsh. Huskey is repped by Principato-Young Entertainment, Abrams Artists, and Morris Yorn Barnes Levine Krintzman Rubenstein Kohner & Gellman.
Rebecca Forsythe (Rake, CSI) is also set to recur on an ABC series, the network’s midseason drama Members Only. She will play the part of Eve, a gorgeous, smart and privileged yet sensible teen born into wealth and privilege. The 13-episode series explores the trials and tribulations of the establishment members and working-class staff at an exclusive East Coast country club. Forsythe is repped by Corsa Agency and More/Medavoy Management.
