EXCLUSIVE: The Following alumna Natalie Zea is set to topline ABC‘s upcoming series Members Only, an upstairs/downstairs drama set at an exclusive Connecticut country club, centered on the club’s leisure-class members and the working-class employees who make the place tick. Zea will play the beautiful, pedigreed, well-educated Mickey, the most together member of the club’s founding family. R.J. Cutler is directing the straight-to-series project, created and executive produced by Susannah Grant for CBS TV Studios and ABC Television Studios in association with Timberman/Beverly Prods. Co-starring are Chris Conroy, Michael Landes, Betsy Brandt, Callie Hernandez, Boris Kodjoe and Jaime Lee Kirchner.
This marks Zea’s return to ABC, where she starred in another glitzy, soapy primetime drama, Dirty Sexy Money. Her series credits also include Justified, Under The Dome and Californication. She
is repped by UTA, manager Robert Semon and attorney James Feldman. Cutler, repped by CAA, Brillstein and HJTHN, is in the ABC family, serving as an executive producer of the network’s soapy country music drama Nashville
after directing the pilot and the second episode. His involvement with Members Only
stems from a first-look development deal for scripted projects he has with CBS Studios. Additionally, Cutler has a first-look for documentaries at Showtime. His feature directorial debut, If I Stay
starring Chloe Grace Moretz, opens August 22.
