Tom Lesinski has inked a two-year first-look development and production deal with Legendary Television and Digital Media under his newly launched Energi Entertainment shingle, which develops, funds and produces content for digital and television platforms. Lesinski is already attached to several ongoing projects developed during his tenure as Legendary's President of Digital Content and Distribution which will remain with Lesinski at Energi. Titles he oversaw there include Dead Rising at Crackle, the recently sold Kelly And Molly pilot script, and new projects Alexandra Milchan’s Life Behind Bars, Pet Therapist and the reboot of Syd and Marty Krofft’s Electra Woman & Dyna Girl.
“For the past 10 years, I’ve had a front row seat to the dynamic and ever expanding marketplace for original digital entertainment,” said Lesinski. “I am thrilled to pursue my goal of creating the leading production company in the digital space.”
Previously, Lesinski founded Paramount Digital Entertainment, where he oversaw a number of digital initiatives including Jackass 2.5, Jackass 3.5, The LXD, Circle Of 8, Burning Love and the animated Zoolander series.
