DigiTour Media, the live-event company specializing in concerts and events featuring prominent YouTube and Vine video creators, has named Erick Nordan as its chief financial officer and Diego Prats as chief growth officer, with both to be based in Los Angeles and report to CEO Meridith Valiando Rojas.
The company also added to its roster of prominent entertainment-industry investors, with capital from music manager Guy Oseary (Madonna, U2), former NBC Entertainment Co-Chairman Ben Silverman of Electus, and Machinima co-founder and Chairman Allen DeBevoise. Terms of their investments were not disclosed. The company’s backers already included Ryan Seacrest and Conde’ Nast parent Advance Publications.
Nordan formerly was at Bill Silva Management, overseeing fiscal operations for more than 160 Hollywood Bowl events. Prats is a former CEO of a Los Angeles-area tech startup, and will oversee internal operations and tech-product development for DigiTour. The company was founded by Rojas and husband Chris Rojas, both former music-industry executives. The company’s tours bring musicians and comedians with big online audiences into venues in the United States, Toronto and London. Other kinds of online stars take part in DigiFest festivals, connecting the stars in person with fans and big brands in a variety of ways.
