Channing Tatum, Reid Carolin and Peter Kiernan continue to bolster the ranks at their new production company Free Association. They've tapped Nellie Stevens-Reed to head their television department as a VP. Stevens-Reed comes to Free Association from David Goyer's Phantom Four Films, where she was Head of Development, overseeing both TV and film. Her credits there include Constantine for NBC and Da Vinci’s Demons for Starz. On the film side, she worked on Sandman, Somacell and Untitled Doug Jung project for Warner Bros; The Breach with Lionsgate and Lorenzo Di Bonaventura; and Untitled Forest Thriller with Lava Bear.
“I have long admired the taste and work ethic of these talented gentlemen," said Stevens-Reed. "I am thrilled to join their team and work with them to find unique and imaginative content in the television space." Added Tatum, Carolin and Kiernan: “Nellie is a star. We're lucky to have her and look forward to telling some great stories with her."
Free Association has a previously announced first-look TV deal with MRC (House Of Cards). The company also recently shot an unscripted pilot for A&E that is in contention for a series pickup order, as well as an animated pilot in the works at Comedy Central.
Stevens-Reed is represented by attorney Melissa Rogal at Lichter Grossman. Free Association is repped by UTA, Management 360 and Hansen Jacobson.
